The bathroom at Edwardstone is now almost complete. Rob has been busy putting the finishing touches to the bespoke panelling.

 

 

 

 

 

We have been busy this week at Layham installing and strengthening the ceiling joist. We had to configure it around water pipes and cables, so not an easy job!

 

 

 

 

Everything is stripped out at Layham. Floors have been removed and timbers exposed. Harry is busy spraying the timbers with wood treatment.

 

 

 

 

 

We have been busy doing a complete bathroom refit at Edwardstone. Here is the progress so far...

 

 

 

 

 

We have had another busy week so far, and have completed the rendering at our Sudbury site.

 

 

 

 

We have started another new job in Layham this week - complete renovation of kitchen and utility room.

 

 

 

Lots of incorrect products were used previously at our Sudbury site, which was not good for the timber frame. Chimney repairs are also underway. Perished sailing courses are being replaced with new imperial bricks and lime mortar.

 

 

 

 

 

This week we have started a new job in Honey Tye. This will be a big job requiring a lot of work, due to either a lack of maintenance, or unskilled trademen with little knowledge of period properties working on the house in the past.
