We have been working on a damp problem in Little Waldingfield. As you can see from the photo with the pictures hanging on the wall, there were movement cracks that had been caused by the damp. We installed a french drain externally and repointed the brickwork, as well as replacing all perished bricks.

Internally we lime rendered followed by lime plastering.

We have started a new job for customers that have recently moved to Long Melford. We have started with some lime plastering, and will be undertaking a complete renovation of the property next year.

Next week we begin the re-roofing at Newton Green.

We have also got the floor insulation down and the vapour barrier and screed complete. Next steps inside are the internal insulation and plaster-boarding.

Work is progressing well at our Newton Green site. The extension is coming along nicely.

We were asked to rebuild a chimney stack in Clare due to the bricks being perished. Incorrect materials had been used over the years, and the strong sand and cement has caused problems with the imperial bricks. We have completed a bespoke rebuild!

We have started a new job in Hadleigh this week carrying out repairs to a gable end. Incorrect products have been used on it over the years, which has affected the timber structure. Once we have made the repairs, we will be applying lime plaster.

These two images show the gable end before the render was removed.

Our high spec new build at Newton is looking amazing! This week we have installed a bespoke oak staircase, and oak-effect electric garage doors.
